Mine is plain black, just like everything else actually. I use the blacktrue theme. Not emo by the way, I just like to keep it simple, dark colors also help me focus and sort out my thoughts.

Nothing special, I put it that way to increase my PC performance. Everything is old school and awesome, just like the good ol' days when I first use the PC. Even now with my new PC I'm still using the Windows Classic theme.

he's right actually. loading the wallpaper can take a few seconds during boot. it also requires a good amount of memory. both shouldn't really matter much on modern PCs though.

but that's off-topic, sorry.

no compiz(standalone) rofl. got bored a while ago and wanted to test out vsync+transparency+random useless stuff.
