Even though the automatic waypoints would be hard to generate, as I realize now. The waypoints could easily screw up. But what about the briefing editor?

The ''briefing editor'' seems like a good idea to me.
Maybe an option to edit/view the briefing editor of your map in the map editor system.

Basicly DC had this planned for his earlier version of CS2D. Although he probably had no time to make it back then, that's why I'm bringing it up again. The ''briefing editor'' seems like a good idea to me.

I might add a function which launches the texteditor of windows and opens the briefing file with it.
and good news about waypoints: there will be no waypoints
bots don't need them anymore and it works pretty good. they still have problems with teleporters but I hope that I can fix it...
So you mean there will be algorithm like they have in CS:S, or am I just dreaming again?
Anyway I look forward to see this bot feature, it sounds nice.
I like the briefing launcher idea.
simple A* pathfinding algorithm (watch the cs2d max hostage video on youtube). I just used waypoints to make the path finding faster in the old cs2d but it seems to be fast enough without waypoints too.
fact is: you can play with bots on EVERY map without any waypoints in cs2dmax

I think it should be a banana that divides into a cluster like weapon. I think it should be somewhat related to the HE, but divided into 3.

I have got another suggestion. About the scripts + commands, it would be great if you could write a "help" command in the console, so it displays each available command and shows a description what it does. It would be good to have just in case. It could show also those hidden commands like "mapinfo" and "resinfo."
But perhaps this could be decided later on, or not.
