Seekay: yes it's a bug. I added that function after the release and did it wrong

medeiros: that's wrong N does NOT toggle names/health while the chat is open

I released another little windows fix (reuploaded as the standard win download) which addresses the H chat bug.

I also changed the mousepointer to a little hand + some of the main menu graphics so that those guys have different faces.

(it's online in a minute)

This is the best game ever lol. It's really funny, and I love the racist stuff that DC made(Don't really mean to be harsh cuz it's funny).

DC: Why can't I use numbers in my teams name, (I wanted The Darkness 2D, but it says The Darkness D). Could you change that? I do think other people would like to use numbers in their teams name.
Also.., I'm wondering, how the FUCK (Seriously, I'm so amazed) I can host on CC, but not on cs2d. Weird, doesn't really matter, someone hosts for me so it's not a big problem.

Anyway, awesome update. Hope more people click on this thread and DOWNLOAD.

oh yeah I'll change that numbers in name stuff. it was not intended.

Carnage Contest uses NAT hole punching even in the serverlist (because there are not so many servers). Others should be able to join your CS2D server as well when they use the connect to IP function instead of the serverlist.

or you could just setup the port forwarding properly

Anyways,
I didn't see that many huge bugs, so beta is for actually just improving it a little I guess. Other than that again it's a great game.

no, there will probably be no dedicated server soon because there are many problems related with that (if it is supposed to run on systems without video card). also a dedicated server for CC has the lowest priority you can imagine because it's actually still nonsense.
