I remember when cs2d was only con,ctf, deathmatch hardcore shooting motherfucker full ragemode, Which was fun as hell.
Now 12 year olds are just camping in their 'house' and doing foreplays and speeding like there on redbull.

I started playing this game after I saw my older brother on a construction server. The appeal of building your own base and defending the flag has always been a game mode I have loved.
Telling people about the game will help a small amount, but asking them to play with you so you can introduce the actual game is best. Show them the feeling we all once had when starting out. Build a community of friends, take your stuff to PCS if you want to feel more official. But let's face it, advertisements and YouTube channels will make things worse.
I recall DC trying to get the game on Steam Greenlight a while back but alas Valve is not the company to reply to any e-mails about copyright infringement. I bet they just want you to try so they can sue
ABILITY TO JOIN SERVER and hosting it simply with dedicated Play Multiplayer of all mod sorts with your friends. Get a stronger weapons (laser fnf...) Edit and create your own Maps Many types of grenades! Mod supports! New lightning engine!Lightning engine looks buggy..i hope the "pro"
and "newbs" players will come again.
Edit:The bug i found yesterday was the 'flashlight' light wont render the dynamic wall.

sonkii: Since its just alpha.. or kinda.. but its works very great for me... even quality of lights & shadows are great, maybe your drivers or GPU is the wrong actually.

Basically change the entire title of the game. See what they could sue, sirs. I see this is an great excuse for DC is lazy enough to get this little old game updated or regenerate the player base.

This game was and is great but it does not have players
Still alive but:
Most (mostly) people wont create strandard server Many server like jails (which i like to join) and etc will mostly die if CS2D got 100% die. Still we can support cs2d by creating gameplay on youtube. Got another ideas? come to help

§5.5 - Do not comment rule violations or spam Jokes aside, I think the big problem why cs2d is not popular anymore is because of the amount of hackers it has accumulated over the years, there's really nothing we can do to stop hacker (Yes there is, mods, whatever) hackers exist in all games, RPG/Adventure whatever I'm going off-topic, moving on, I'd advice the cs2d developers to add something extraordinary in the next update.
CS2D is great now, but it needs more players, advertising in youtube was already done, most of the new comers don't really know how to play, they joina random server and eventually keep dying from the professionals, and then they rage quit the game, admins could add a training field inside CS2D for the newcomers and give them a proper tutorial instead of throwing them into the world of cs2d with no experience whatsoever.
That's my suggestion to make cs2d bigger again
